Consilium / Synergy Platform Update - Wrap 2.0

We are contacting you to provide details on the upgrade to the Consilium Wrap platform that will be taking place soon.
Consilium Wrap is an investment administration system offered by Consilium NZ Limited that provides you access to specialist technology and custodial services to either your Consilium or Synergy investment portfolios. Think of it as one home for all your investments, be they shares, bonds, managed funds, currency or term deposits.
Consilium Wrap involves three main parties; Consilium, FNZ and FNZ Custodians.
· Consilium supports advisers and their investors, drives technological enhancement and provides a technical support team.
· FNZ provides the investment administration and reporting.
· FNZ Custodians provides safe custody of assets, through world leading custodial services.

As part of our service offering to you, we are committed to keeping up with global standards of technology and security and will soon be implementing a significant upgrade to Consilium Wrap.
Below are some of the enhancements you can look forward to:
General
1. Design update – more colour, more visual and responsive pages.
2. Centralised client records – if you have more than one account, we will unify these into one record meaning you will only need one login to see all of your accounts.
3. More transparency – your login will provide greater visibility of your account details.
Reporting
For your convenience and security, information about your account is better accessed through your online login. Accessing information this way provides you with the following benefits:
· Ability to run your own reports, for any time period.
· Viewing of transactional records for investments, cash, fees and taxes for any time period and filter by type.
· Option to use customisable views and interactive charts, which are only visible through your login.
We will continue to provide you with your 6 monthly custodian report, annual tax report and other reports as required. To maximise your information security, we advise that you access these reports through your login.
Security
While your login has always been secure and your investments in safe custody, technology now provides for further enhancement. Our current login uses security questions which, on occasion, can be hard to remember.
The new Wrap platform uses two-factor authentication using your username, email address, and / or mobile phone number.
You may have experienced two-factor authentication with your internet banking – you receive a text message with a code which you must enter to verify you have instructed an action. The new Wrap platform will use the same process, making access to your login simpler and more secure. You will only need a code the first time you log in and if you need to reset your password. You won’t need to do this every time you log in.
You will also be able to reset your password yourself at any time if you have forgotten your password. If you become locked out by entering the incorrect details too many times, Consilium will be able to email you a link to reset your password.
Remember, your investments are not moving. They will stay in the safe custody of FNZ. All that will change is how you look at them online.
