Heather Roy

HON HEATHER ROY
INDEPENDENT CHAIR

Heather is the Independent Chair of Utilities Disputes Ltd, the Advertising Standards Authority and the Security and Reliability Council (an advisory committee to the Electricity Authority). She is a principal and director of her business consultancy, TorquePoint. Heather’s previous governance roles include the Chair of Medicines New Zealand, and various Ministerial roles, including Minister of Consumer Affairs. Heather was a Member of Parliament from 2002 – 2011. She also worked in the health sector as both a practitioner and in policy development, and was a Captain in the NZ Army Reserve (Royal NZ Engineers). She is a member of the Institute of Directors and winner of the Women on Boards ‘Inspirational Excellence Award’ 2017.

JOHN KILLICK
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR 

John has 44 years’ experience in the financial services industry – commencing in banking in
the 1960’s – the insurance industry in the 1970’s and transitioning to the financial planning and investment sectors as they evolved in the New Zealand market in the 1980’s and 1990’s.
John is a Certified Financial Planner, Life member of MDRT, Fellow of FANZ, a Chartered Insurance Agency manager and the recipient of the NZ Life Pinnacle Award (1996) and has the NZ Diploma in Life Assurance.
John and Sally Killick founded the company in 1996.

 

Miki

MIKI SZIKSZAI
INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

Miki has broad experience in leading and governing customer-focused companies. As Chief Executive of Snapper Services Ltd for 10 years, Miki has led the company from its initial establishment through to maturing the ticketing service in the Greater Wellington region and beyond, providing digital ticketing services in international markets as diverse as Ireland and Latvia.

Miki has served as a director in technology-focused companies including Vend Ltd, Spotlight Reporting Ltd, and StarNow Ltd.

David
DAVID SPAZIANI
INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

David’s passion and background is in technology transformation, big data and business improvement, working on some of the largest ICT programmes in New Zealand. David has a wealth of knowledge and experience within public sector serving as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Department of Internal Affairs for 4 years. Currently he is Virtual CIO and ICT advisor at a number of smaller public and private organisations. David was a Senior Executive Partner at Gartner for 7 years where he helped  businesses build successful organisations for the future. David currently sits on the Boards of St Marks Church School, St Marks Parish Property Trust, and Sonia’s Musikgartnen Foundation

Miki

KEVIN BRAILEY
INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

Kevin has held Senior Sales and Distribution Management roles with Prudential, A.I.A. and AXA for over 30 years. During that time Kevin initiated significant distribution strategies that made a positive impact within the industry. Kevin has run his own advisory business in Auckland for the last 8 years whilst also leading the Advisory Group Network which represents over 2500 advisors throughout the country, helping them in dealing with current regulatory change within the industry.
